Location: ONSITE at a Medical Facility in Royal Oaks, MI
Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm Hybrid
Due to the nature of this position and healthcare setting, up to date immunizations are required.

Role Description: This position is responsible for assisting the Department Manager in
overseeing the employees who are either on-site in a hospital or within an office. This
individual will assist the Department Manager with other duties such as evaluating the
progress of the staff, maintaining employee records, quality assurance, etc.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead, supervise and develop departmental teams.

Oversee and direct the daily activities of the staff.

Coordinate account inventories and report daily/weekly to the Department Manager.

Prepare and conduct staff training.
-
Maintain time and attendance records for staff.
-
Problem solve operational issue.

Conduct performance reviews.
-
Assist with hiring.
-
Delegation and inspection of workflows.

Uphold a strong commitment to business ethics, including confidentiality and data
-
privacy.

Maintain consistent performance to achieve predefined performance metrics.

Strictly adhere to compliance regulations and security policies.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws.

Coordinate and/or assume responsibilities for employees during absenteeism, heavy
-
workloads, etc.

Coordinate overtime with the Department Manager to accommodate workloads
-
Meet goals and objectives as assigned by management.

Report and document employee disciplinary problems to the Department Manager.

Adhere to prescribed policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
-
and the Employee Code of Conduct.

Maintain awareness of and actively participate in the Corporate Compliance Program.

Assist with other projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications:

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor's Degree Preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience required
Work Experience:
Eligibility Supervisor experience is helpful
Experience with Medicaid processes is required
Competencies & Skills:
Ability to effectively work and communicate with coworkers, staff and clients
Ability to always present oneself in a professional and courteous manner
Working knowledge of Personal Computers
Demonstrate initiative and creativity in fulfilling job responsibilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a busy work environment
Must demonstrate strong leadership abilities
Additional Qualifications:
Ability to work a flexible work schedule, with occasional weekends and evenings
for any
work-related driving
Ability to download 2-factor authentication application(s) on personal device, in
accordance with company and/or client requirements
Ability to pass a pre-employment background investigation based on client requirements,
including but not limited to, criminal history, motor vehicle report, work authorization
verification, and medical screenings. The medical screenings may include one or more of
the following: drug test, bloodwork for TB and titers, nicotine testing, physical exam,
color-blind testing, vaccines such as Hepatitis B and C, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Influenza
and Covid-19.
