Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to support our growing BPaaS (Business Process as a Service) platform for healthcare payers. This role focuses on software integration and data interface development across core payer systems. You’ll work with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to implement solutions using platforms such as HealthEdge, Salesforce, and Edifecs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software integrations between healthcare payer systems (e.g., claims, eligibility, enrollment).
• Configure and support APIs, EDI interfaces, and data transformation processes.
• Participate in integration testing, validation, and debugging activities.
• Write and maintain clean, well-documented code and technical artifacts.
• Collaborate across engineering, QA, and business teams to deliver project milestones.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in software engineering, integration development, or data interface design.
• Solid working knowledge of at least one of the following platforms: HealthEdge, Salesforce, or Edifecs.
• Proficiency in Java and at least one of the following: C# or C++.
• Understanding of healthcare payer environments and data standards (EDI 837/834, 270/271, etc.).
• Experience with APIs, web services, and data formats like XML and JSON.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with HIPAA-compliant development and healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., FHIR).
• Experience working in Agile teams or DevOps pipelines.
• Interest in continuous learning within healthcare IT and systems integration.
