Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Training Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Healthcare Payer operations and a strong background in developing and delivering advanced training programs. This role is essential for ensuring that our staff are well-trained and knowledgeable about industry standards, processes, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive training programs focused on Healthcare Payer operations, including claims processing, member enrollment, and provider management.
- Conduct advanced training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements within the organization.
- Design and create sophisticated training materials, including manuals, e-learning modules, presentations, and job aids.
- Deliver engaging and effective training sessions through various methods, including in-person, virtual, and blended learning environments.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and up to date.
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to staff to reinforce learning and ensure the application of new skills.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in Healthcare Payer operations and training methodologies.
- Maintain training records and documentation to track progress and compliance.
- Mentor and guide junior trainers, providing support and knowledge sharing.
- Lead special projects and initiatives to enhance the overall training and development strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Training and Development, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in training and development, with a focus on Healthcare Payer operations.
- Extensive knowledge of Healthcare Payer operations, including claims processing, member enrollment, and provider management.
- Strong instructional design and curriculum development skills.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in using training tools and software such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-learning authoring tools, and virtual training platforms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and learner engagement.
- Proven experience in mentoring and leading junior team members.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in training and development (e.g., Certified Professional in Learning and Performance - CPLP) is a plus.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of modern learning principles and instructional design models.
