SERVICING QUALITY CONTROL ANALYST
Non-exempt, Remote
ROLE SUMMARY
The Mortgage Quality Control Servicing Analyst provides critical analytical and operational support to the Servicing Quality Control (QC – Servicing) department. This role serves as a key client point of contact, ensures accuracy and efficiency in Servicing QC processes, completes audit reviews, and maintains detailed documentation for the department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and reconcile incoming loan files and data delivered from clients.
- Auditor and Client Communication regarding selections, any file transfer problems, loan replacements, assisting client with uploading questions, and problem solving.
- Setup audits, contact clients for any missing documents or data, and assist Team Leader with monitoring SLAs and audits for completion.
- Audit setup responsibilities include mapping fields & setting criteria in proprietary system, building sampling spreadsheets from client data, and ensuring all audits are set up in accordance with client selections on their respective Statements of Work.
- Assign reviews within audits to Analysts
- Replace loans within audits as needed
- Reporting responsibilities include preparing audit reporting within Service Level Agreements, verify reporting contains the same number of loans as were selected for audit setup, load reporting to client dashboard within proprietary system.
- Update the Servicing Tracker multiple times daily with the status of incoming files, current status of audits, reporting status, and billing status.
- Billing responsibilities include ensuring billing data aligns with reporting and Servicing Tracker, ensure that per loan file charge matches on invoice, on system billing template, and charges as listed on client Statements of Work.
- Complete Servicing QC audit reviews on performing and non-performing loans.
- Attend all internal and client meetings as requested
- Assist with all other responsibilities as assigned by Management
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years of experience, with direct experience in the mortgage industry.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Products, with high level confidence in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and coordinate tasks to keep work flowing within the department
- Adaptable to changing needs and able to meet and exceed deadlines
- Professional, strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality output and work
- Willingness to learn Mortgage Servicing Terms & Concepts
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Five years or more experience in the mortgage industry.
- Experience working in the Mortgage Servicing field and/or Mortgage Quality Control industry.
