Manager - Eligibility & Enrollment

Location: Must be located in Memphis, TN and willing to travel to the surrounding areas
Role Description: The goal of the Manager – Eligibility & Enrollment is to lead staff who are either in office, on-site at a hospital or working from home. The Manager will be responsible to ensure inventory management is maintained at acceptable levels, best practices are implemented and followed, and expenses and revenue are maintained to budget
Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the Department.
- Coordinate account inventories, generate daily/weekly reports, and conduct inventory reconciliations.
- Prepare and deliver staff training sessions.
- Coordinate and reassign responsibilities for employees in cases of absenteeism or heavy workloads.
- Manage overtime scheduling to accommodate workload demands when necessary.
- Assess and achieve departmental objectives effectively.
- Monitor performance statistics closely.
- Participate in client meetings, delivering updates and account reports while nurturing client relationships.
- Evaluate processes to ensure the implementation of Firstsource best practices in collaboration with clients and staff.
- Implement quality assurance measures, including auditing accounts and assisting with employee performance evaluations.
- Adhere to established policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook and the Employee Code of Conduct.
- Actively engage in and maintain awareness of the Corporate Compliance Program.
- Provide onsite coverage as needed.
- Collaborate on additional projects as directed by management.
Expected/Key Results
- Meet contractual client obligations
- Meet internal / client SLAs (NPS, AHT, customer experience, efficiency, qualitative metric, etc)
- Meet revenue targets through FTE delivery, staffing levels, etc
- Meet retention target for the team
- Process improvement through implementation suggestions maximize the efficiency
- Lesser incidents of critical ops process escalations
- Build new client relationships and sustaining existing client relationships
- Building strong internal stakeholder relationship
Preferred Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required
Preferred Work Experience
- 3-5 years’ experience of medical coding, medical billing, eligibility (hospital or government) or other pertinent medical experience is preferred
- Prior supervisory experience is preferred

- Possess proficient PC knowledge and the ability to type at a rate of 30-40 words per minute
