Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst with expertise in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) processing and a strong foundation in testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams. A preference will be given to candidates with experience using CUBS (The Collector System), FACS, Artiva HCx, or Velocity.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, document, and improve revenue cycle management processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Conduct system testing, UAT, and regression testing to ensure optimal performance of revenue cycle applications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and IT teams to gather and define business requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories for system enhancements and implementations.
- Troubleshoot issues related to revenue cycle applications, identifying root causes and recommending solutions.
- Work closely with QA teams to develop test cases, test scripts, and testing plans.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, workflows, and system guides.
- Communicate complex system processes clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Assist with system implementations, upgrades, and integrations related to revenue cycle operations.
- Provide ongoing support and training to end users as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in business systems analysis, preferably within revenue cycle management or financial systems.
- Strong understanding of RCM processes, billing, collections, and payment posting workflows.
- Experience with system testing, quality assurance processes, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in documenting business processes, system requirements, and test plans.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CUBS (The Collector System), Artiva HCx, FACS, Velocity or similar collection management platforms.
- Familiarity with SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of healthcare, finance, or collections industry compliance regulations.
- Experience working in Agile or Waterfall environments.
