What We’re Looking For
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys reading, editing, and improving text, has strong attention to detail, and likes remote task-based work. You don’t need a technical background, just good written English skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions carefully.
Role Summary
Annotators will support two key stages of the data pipeline:
1. Ground Truth Validation (Annotation):
Check and correct AI-generated conversations to make sure they are accurate and match the intended meaning of the conversation (ground truth).
2. Text Refinement (Editing):
Rework short pieces of AI-generated text to make them sound more natural, clear, and human-like while keeping the original meaning.
This role involves a mix of annotation and light text editing and is a good fit for people who are detail-oriented and comfortable working with written language.
Responsibilities
- Validate the correctness and consistency of AI-generated outputs.
- Edit text to improve tone and flow while keeping the same meaning.
- Ensure all text aligns with verified ground truth and project guidelines.
- Maintain quality standards for accuracy, coherence, and consistency.
- Follow detailed written instructions and meet daily or weekly productivity targets.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree, Masters preferred
- Language Skills: Native or near-native fluency in English (US locale).
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot errors, inconsistencies, or unnatural phrasing.
- Reading Comprehension: Comfortable interpreting written instructions and applying structured rules.
- Reliability: Able to meet deadlines and maintain consistent work quality in a remote environment.
- Basic Technical Comfort: Able to work in web-based annotation tools and follow task submission processes.
