POSITION SUMMARY AND PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Position Summary:

Skilled and detail-oriented software tester with 2-4 years of experience. Candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software products through rigorous testing. This role involves both manual and automated testing and close collaboration with development and product teams.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.
• Develop, document and maintain test plans, test cases and test scripts.
• Identify and prepare test data needed for testing.
• Perform manual and automated testing on software applications and analyze results.
• Identify, document and track defects using appropriate tools.
• Work closely with product manager and development team to understand features and bug fixes.
• Ensure software meets the specified requirements and quality standards.
• Perform functional, performance and usability testing.
• Document and maintain clear and comprehensive test cases.
• Report bugs and errors to the development team and track the bug fixing.
• Any exposure and experience in AI and ML testing will be of additional advantage.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Proficiency in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Experience in using QA tools such as Selenium, Jira, QTP etc.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience in RDBMS (Oracle/SQL/Postgres)

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Communication. Other branches of engineering with proven skills through past experience / projects can also apply.
