Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HR professional with deep expertise in Recruitment, Total Rewards, HR Audit. This role combines responsibilities for reviewing the organization’s compensation and benefits programs . the recruitment process etc and conducting HR audits to ensure compliance and improve HR processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, extensive experience in HR practices, and the ability to provide strategic insights across multiple HR domains.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- HR Audit: Conduct periodic HR audits to ensure the organization’s policies, procedures, and HR operations comply with legal requirements and internal standards.
- HR Policy Compliance Audit: Review and ensure HR policies comply with legal requirements and company standards.
Audit employee handbooks, compensation structures, and workplace safety policies.
- Internal Process Audits: Examine and evaluate HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, employee performance, and payroll. Identify gaps in procedures and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the organization complies with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and other government regulations. Assist in preparing for external audits and inspections by regulatory bodies.
- Employee Records Audit: Review employee records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with retention policies. Ensure proper documentation is maintained for hiring, promotions, terminations, and disciplinary actions.
- Compensation and Benefits Review: Audit payroll and benefits administration to ensure accuracy, fairness and benefits administration for accuracy and legal compliance.
Collaborate with HR leadership to recommend and update compensation structures, ensuring internal equity and legal compliance.
Evaluate the effectiveness of total rewards programs and recommend improvements based on employee feedback, performance metrics, and business goals.
- SOP Review: Identify gaps or risks within HR processes and provide actionable recommendations to improve compliance, efficiency, and employee experience.
- Risk Management: Identify risks related to HR practices and suggest mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with legal teams to manage potential litigation risks.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that audit recommendations are effectively integrated into HR operations.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze HR data to detect trends, discrepancies, or anomalies in employee relations, absenteeism, and performance. Create audit reports for senior management with actionable recommendations.
Key Performance Indicators:
Audit Coverage:
- Percentage of planned HR audits completed within the fiscal year. (Target: 100%)
- Percentage of high-risk HR areas covered by audits. (Target: 100%)
Audit Findings and Recommendations:
- Number of significant audit findings identified. (Target: Low/Decreasing)
- Percentage of audit recommendations accepted by HR management. (Target: 95%+).
- Percentage of audit recommendations implemented by agreed upon deadlines. (Target: 90%+)
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Number of compliance violations identified during audits. (Target: Zero)
- Reduction in identified HR-related risks. (Target: Measurable reduction over time)
Audit Efficiency:
- Average time taken to complete an HR audit. (Target: Within established timeframes)
Stakeholder Satisfaction:
- Feedback from HR management on the quality and value of audit services. (Target: High satisfaction ratings)
- Timeliness and clarity of audit reports. (Target: positive feedback)
Process Improvement:
- Number of HR process improvements implemented based on audit recommendations.
- Quantifiable impact of process improvements on efficiency or compliance.
Education | Certifications | Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s Degree will be plus
Practical Experience: In Human Resources Experience: minimum of 5 years of experience working in HR, with a focus on Total Rewards, Recruitment, and HR Audits
Strong understanding of compensation structures, benefits management, and recruitment strategies
Auditing Experience: Experience in auditing (internal or external), compliance, or risk management is valuable, A deep understanding of processes, systems, and risk assessment
In-depth knowledge of labor laws, HR compliance, and audit methodologies.
Experience with data analysis and reporting.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with HR Management Systems (HRMS): An understanding of HR technology, such as SF/HRIS/HRMS systems, for auditing HR data management, payroll, and employee information systems.
Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot inconsistencies and ensure all HR processes are compliant and efficient.
Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Collaboration with HR teams, managers, and senior leadership to discuss findings and recommendations.
