Job Overview:
We are looking for Senior Executive – Finance working in the treasury department of the finance team. The candidate will be responsible for managing day to day banking requirements of the function, documentation, database management pertaining to Banking, Borrowing, Forex, Investments, Working capital management, etc.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Handling day to day operations of a corporate treasury function.
- Investments in MF’s / FD’s in accordance to Investment Policy
- Liaising with the Banks / Fund houses for execution of transactions
- Database Management for enabling of the reporting aspects.
- FX Hedge Documentation and Database Management
- Documentation pertaining to Treasury operations.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders for closure of transactions
- Driving closure of accounting of treasury transactions.
Key Performance Indicators:
Write down the key performance indicators
- Smooth day to day operations of the treasury function.
- Zero omission or emission in database management.
- TAT management for documentation
- Appropriate relationship management with bankers and internal stakeholders
Reporting Structure:
Write down who the role would be reporting into and the key stakeholders they would be working closely with
- Reporting to AM/Manager – Finance. Functional reporting to all senior members.
- Key stakeholders would be
- AVP Finance / Finance Head / CFO
- Various Subfunctions of Finance – Accounts Payable, Revenue Assurance, Consolidation, Taxation, Payroll, etc.
- Banks, Financial Institutions, Credit Rating Agencies, Mutual Fund houses.
Success Profile:
Qualification & Experience (Critical and Desirable)
- An ideal candidate would be someone with good interpersonal skills, having excellent self-discipline in managing their own work with minimum supervision.
Know How (Critical and Desirable)
Knowledge and expertise/skills required
- MS Office especially good grip on Excel.
- Knowledge of general banking terminology and processes.
- Basic accounting knowledge to understand impact of the transactions
- Strong Interpersonal Skills
- Knowledge of Reuters / Bloomberg will be added advantage.
