Role Summary
We are looking for a Business Analyst with strong expertise in requirement gathering and stakeholder engagement. The role involves working closely with business users, product owners, and technical teams to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements to support successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions including workshops, interviews, and walkthroughs
- Translate business needs into clear Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Business Requirement Documents (BRD), and User Stories
- Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and process mapping
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, QA, and project managers to ensure requirement clarity
- Support UAT planning and execution, including test case review and defect triage
- Maintain requirements traceability matrix (RTM)
- Ensure alignment of requirements with business objectives and project scope
- Manage requirement changes and support change control processes
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with strong requirement gathering exposure
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Hands-on experience with BRD, FRD, User Stories, Use Cases
- Knowledge of SDLC / Agile / Scrum methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Excel (or similar)
Good to Have
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Domain knowledge in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, or Telecom (as applicable)
- CBAP / CCBA or Agile BA certification
