Senior Software Engineer :

Sitecore Senior Developer responsible for the following:

As a Sitecore Senior Developer, your primary responsibility is to manage and maintain the Sitecore environment. This involves configuring Sitecore and designing, coding, optimizing custom solutions to meet business needs, ensuring data integrity/quality, and optimizing system performance. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Sitecore with other applications and enhance system functionality. Security and compliance are critical, so you’ll configure access controls, monitor for threats, and enforce best practices. Additionally, you’ll provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, resolve user queries. Accurate documentation and staying informed about Sitecore features and trends are essential for success.

Technical and Personal Skills:

• 5+ years’ experience as a Sitecore Developer
• 2+ years’ in-depth and hands on experience with Sitecore XP 10.x / XM 10.x development 
• Demonstrated experience with web development using C#, .NET, MVC, WCF and current Javascript frameworks 
• Strong experience with HTML, Bootstrap, Next.js, JQuery and AJAX 
• Strong experience implementing Web Services using SOAP or REST, as well as using existing Web Services 
• Strong understanding of integration concepts and experience in developing integrations between Sitecore and third-party platform APIs 
• Strong experience working in a DevSecOps environment utilising Git and CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket, Bamboo 
• Strong understanding of Sitecore best practices and functionality
• Strong debugging and problem solving skills
• Experience working in an ITIL environment
• Demonstrated exceptional customer service, verbal/written communication and collaboration skills with a variety of stakeholders with varying technical expertise
• Experience working independently and proactively whilst demonstrating impeccable risk identification/mitigation and time management skills
• Proven ability to write quality, fit-for-purpose documentation including, but not limited to KB articles, technical designs, release notes.

• Aptitude and passion for expanding your expertise as needed by a role and demonstrated self-commitment to maintaining your knowledge of emerging technologies, standards, and frameworks.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest Sitecore technologies and best practices.

Desired Skills:

• Sitecore Developer certifications highly regarded
• Experience with Sitecore OrderCloud and XM Cloud will be highly regarded
• Team Development for Sitecore experience is preferred
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and API strategy development
• Experience working in scaled agile framework (SAFe) environments.
• Experience working with collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence
