Senior Consultant - Salesforce

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Salesforce Developer – India is a key technical role responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality Salesforce solutions, primarily across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and the Lightning Platform. With deep hands-on expertise in Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, and Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP), this role drives the technical implementation of complex business requirements. As a strong individual contributor, the Senior Developer is expected to work independently, make sound technical decisions, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and maintainable Salesforce solutions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce applications using Apex, LWC, and Aura components.
• Build and maintain integrations with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with business analysts, administrators, and other developers to deliver high-impact features.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of development processes and DevOps pipelines.
• Ensure all development is well-documented and aligns with security, compliance, and performance standards.
• Stay up to date with Salesforce platform enhancements and proactively incorporate new features.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

• Strong proficiency in Salesforce platform development, including Apex, LWC, Aura, SOQL, and SOSL.
• In-depth understanding of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Salesforce data model.
• Proven experience with Salesforce integrations using RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Ability to work independently and deliver solutions with minimal guidance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (like Copado, Gearset) is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required:

• Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4–6 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, including advanced experience in Lightning Web Components and integrations.
• Salesforce Certifications: Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II.

Preferred:

• Certifications in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Application Architect path.
• Trailhead Ranger level and active contributor to the Salesforce community.
• Experience with modern DevOps practices in a Salesforce environment.’
