Manager - Sales Operations (Technical)

We are looking for a Sales Operations Manager with expertise in Salesforce to join our Sales Operations and Enablement team. The role is pivotal to optimize the sales processes leveraging salesforce functionalities and providing technical solutions to drive sales efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales operations, advanced Salesforce proficiency, and the ability to analyze complex data sets to inform strategic decision-making.

 Responsibilities:

 1. Salesforce Administration:

  • Administrator for Salesforce - managing user setup, profiles, roles, permissions, customization, and data integrity.
  • Track and Maintain Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, process builder, validation rules, and other functionalities to support sales processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement customizations to meet business needs.

 2. Data Management and Analysis:

  • Conduct timely data quality audits and implement data cleansing initiatives to ensure accuracy and completeness of sales data.
  • Develop and maintain sales performance dashboards, reports, and metrics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Utilize Salesforce reporting to extract, analyze, and visualize sales data.

3. Sales Process Optimization:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline sales processes within Salesforce.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements, leveraging Salesforce automation tools such as workflows, process builder.

4. Integration and System Enhancements:

  • Collaborate with IT and third-party vendors to implement system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations.
  • Stay informed about Salesforce platform updates, new features, and best practices to maximize the value of our Salesforce investment.

 5. Training and Support:

  • Manage user queries regarding Salesforce usage.
  • Provide training and support to sales teams on Salesforce usage, best practices, and new features.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and point of contact for Salesforce-related inquiries and support tickets.

 

 

 Qualifications:

  • MBA from a premier business school with technical background or related experience
  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations, business analysis, or Salesforce administration roles.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations, data migration, and system enhancements is a plus.
