Supplier Performance Analyst
Position Summary (the reasons the position exists; a summary of what the is position is responsible for):
The Analyst, Supplier Performance Management will be responsible for driving disciple and high-performance culture among the organization’s enterprise vendors/partners through regular monitoring and reporting on supplier performance. This role will actively support enterprise vendor management (EVM) organization in data driven decision making in order to scale appropriately in alignment with the organization’s strategy for overall business growth. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Supplier Performance Management.
Responsibilities (indicate 5-10 key responsibilities/tasks that effectively describe the position; List from most important to least important):
- Maintain a robust metrics and performance measurement framework that enables capturing relevant performance data for all EVM functions and 3rd party vendor partnerships.
- Act as the custodian of master data for contractually binding SLAs (service level agreements) & KPIs (key performance indicators), key risks indicators and other operational excellence metrics across EVM and all organization’s suppliers, and support in effective contractual compliance and performance reviews of Suppliers
- Regularly audit documentation and data provided by our vendors to ensure highest level of accuracy and compliance with the organization’s requirements. This includes reviewing SLA information, RCA (Root Cause Analysis) documentation, tracking annual contractual deliverables and documentation on SharePoint
- Periodically revisit metrics, targets, dashboards and reports to maximize relevance, utilization, automation and impact
- Develop and maintain spend profile, savings profile and financial performance for critical enterprise vendors; regularly update the Financial Workbooks with overall spend information and manage purchase orders for select vendors
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of invoices or credits by our vendors; work collaboratively with service recipients and vendors to resolve any issues and review back-up calculations as needed
- Leverage data analytics and BI tools to analyze, evaluate and extract data driven insights, trends and recommendations and communicate key messages through executive summaries and reporting
- Support with contract change process as needed
- Adhere to ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations applicable to the job function
Required Skills
- Familiarity with vendor contracts and contractual obligations
- Ability to manage service levels, KPIs and work with data to support decision making
- Comfortable with numbers and experienced in conducting financial analysis
- Strong planning, organizational, project management and documentation skills
- Demonstrated experience in using Excel and SharePoint
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Education, Certifications, or Special Licenses:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree preferred
Relevant Years of Experience Required:
- 2+ years in vendor management, performance management, contracts management
- 2+ years in financial analysis or data analytics
- 2+ years of experience working and collaborating with cross functional & global stakeholders in a matrix organization
