POSITION SUMMARY (the reasons the position exists; a summary of what the is position is responsible for):

|
This is a key role responsible for operationalizing the Technology Portfolio Resource Management and is responsible for ensuring the strategic and tactical alignment of the Technology portfolio. Works with existing Product Relationship Managers (PRMs) or Product Owners, Project Managers Functions to develop and manage the Technology Portfolio of work with respect to prioritizations, funding, resourcing, and delivery.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (indicate 5-10 key responsibilities/tasks that effectively describe the position; List from most important to least important):

- Facilitate request intake and ideation process for Technology demands. Participate in discussions and activities regarding Technology project funding, resourcing, and prioritization of demands.
- Ensures definition, prioritization, and scheduling for Technology demands, including development of business case, project charters, expected value, risks, and resource requirements in collaboration with their Technology and business partners.
- Ensures optimal resource allocation based on resource availability and prioritized projects.
- Facilitate mobilizing demands to go through review and approvals.
- Ensure ongoing accuracy and integrity of financial models, data, and reports
- Actively manage IT financials for approved demand projects within their assigned group to ensure alignment with approved budget, including continuous monitoring of (1) actuals vs forecast vs approved budget, including working with stakeholders to resolve any unapproved variances, and (2) accuracy of PS T&L codes recorded by IT teams
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Internal/external partners and sponsors ensuring key stakeholders are identified and engaged early in the project life cycle.
- Build trusted and effective relationships working with project managers to ensure they deliver on-time, on-budget, on benefit and on-quality (and intervening to resolve issues as required)
- Champions strong IT governance in the Technology Portfolio Resource Management framework. Accountable for process compliance and issue & escalation management.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
|
|
- Proven ability to build professional, collaborative working relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in business and/or technology planning and management roles. Familiarity with use of Portfolio Management tools like Planview preferred.
- Experience in application portfolio management and planning. Understand Agile Methodologies
- Strong organizational skills including good time management, prioritizing tasks, estimating activities, and meeting deadlines, must effectively prioritize own work.
- Ability to work effectively under high level of pressure and within demanding timelines.
- Confident, professional, and effective presenting ideas or reports with clarity, ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.

Education, Certifications, or Special Licenses:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience and process orientation.
Relevant Years of Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience with portfolio management, operational or technical activities.
