POSITION PURPOSE

The role is that of a business partner to fulfill the manpower requirements for a specific account. The role requires creating processes and experiences that grow the capacity of the organization's key people resources.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Overall responsibility of Recruitment across functions in a specific location through a team of

recruiters.

  • Fulfill client requirements by filling vacancies in the shortest possible lead time to ensure high

efficiency

  • Introducing new and innovative techniques for sourcing candidates
  • Should understand the client requirement by liasoning with the function head (where the vacancy is) as

well as regular interaction with workforce management head.

  • Develop business unit recruitment strategy and lead recruitment initiatives ensuring talent pipelines are

available to meet the growth needs of the business (es).

  • Ensure the coordination and management of delivery of recruiting programmes and large-scale

recruitment projects and compile appropriate statistics on all matters relating to the recruitment of

employees, including weekly, monthly and annual recruitment reports.

  • Ensure maintenance of up-to-date information on the recruitment status/recruitment MIS at any given

point in time.

  • Provide leadership through coaching, training, advice and consultation to the business unit/segment

line executive and management team on complex issues relating to implementation of their respective

  • recruiting needs, including sourcing, assessment, and interviewing, hiring and on-boarding strategies.
  • Responsible for effectiveness in the recruiting department and overall accountability for the

management of the recruitment team.

  • Should ensure that the identification, contracting and management of vendors that supplement

functional and segment recruitment needs is effective and fulfills client/function head requirements

  • Responsible to create processes and experiences that grow the capacity of the organization's key

people resources
