Tester - UAT

Responsibilities:

· Lead and manage the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process for various projects, with a focus on Healthcare Payer systems.

· Develop comprehensive UAT plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and user stories specific to Healthcare Payer operations.

· Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage.

· Execute UAT test cases, document results, and report defects using appropriate testing tools and methodologies.

· Coordinate with end-users to facilitate UAT sessions, gather feedback, and ensure user satisfaction.

· Analyze and prioritize defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

· Provide detailed test reports and metrics to project stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

· Mentor and guide junior testing analysts, providing support and knowledge sharing.

· Continuously improve UAT processes and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, with at least 1 years focused on User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

· Significant experience in the Healthcare Payer industry, including knowledge of claims processing, member enrollment, and provider management.

· Knowledge of HealthEdge, FACETS, QNXT

· Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.

· Proficiency in using testing tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or similar.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

· Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and user satisfaction.

· Experience in mentoring and leading junior team members is required.
