Description:
- Individual must be familiar with online US payer portal navigation
- Candidate must have knowledge of insurance verification and the ability to understand benefits. Individual will verify patient’s insurance with primary and secondary payers via online payer portal.
- Candidate must be able to clearly document eligibility, verification, and prior-authorization details in Epic
- Individual must have knowledge in prior-authorization: submitting requests for authorizations prior to a medical service being performed
- Individual should be able to identify authorization status: determine if an authorization is required for specified service and document authorization requirement details in Epic
- Individual should be able to identify documents that are required by each payer for prior-authorization submission
