Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Testing Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and significant experience in the Healthcare Payer industry. This role is crucial for ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality before they are released to our users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process for various projects, with a focus on Healthcare Payer systems.
- Develop comprehensive UAT plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and user stories specific to Healthcare Payer operations.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage.
- Execute UAT test cases, document results, and report defects using appropriate testing tools and methodologies.
- Coordinate with end-users to facilitate UAT sessions, gather feedback, and ensure user satisfaction.
- Analyze and prioritize defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Provide detailed test reports and metrics to project stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Mentor and guide junior testing analysts, providing support and knowledge sharing.
- Continuously improve UAT processes and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years focused on User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Significant experience in the Healthcare Payer industry, including knowledge of claims processing, member enrollment, and provider management.
- Knowledge of HealthEdge, FACETS, QNXT
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in using testing tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and user satisfaction.
- Experience in mentoring and leading junior team members is required.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of automation testing tools and techniques.
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
