Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases for SIT and UAT phases
- Coordinate with business analysts, developers, and other project team members to understand the system requirements and functionality being tested.
- Collaborate with the testing team to define test objectives, scope, and priorities.
- Review and analyse business requirements and technical specifications to identify testable scenarios.
- Design and implement test scripts, test data, and test environments.
- Conduct both manual and automated testing to validate system functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Manage and prioritize defects found during testing, track them to resolution, and ensure fixes are implemented.
- Ensure test coverage is sufficient to mitigate risks and achieve desired quality standards.
- Communicate test progress, test results, and any significant issues or risks to project stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the testing team, including assigning tasks and monitoring their progress.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any testing-related issues or dependencies.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, tools, and techniques related to testing and quality assurance.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven 5+ years of experience as a Testing Lead, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Strong expertise in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Experience working with Health Edge ERP and/or Facet systems is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in creating test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
- Familiarity with both manual and automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
- Leadership abilities to guide and motivate the testing team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
