Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inline Monitoring Specialist to oversee mortgage underwriting processes, ensuring compliance with company policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will audit underwriting decisions, identify inconsistencies, and provide insights to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct audits of mortgage underwriting decisions to ensure adherence to internal policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory standards.

Analyze underwriting files for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with lending criteria.

Identify trends, risk factors, and potential compliance issues in underwriting processes, escalating concerns as necessary.

Provide feedback and recommendations to underwriters and leadership based on audit findings.

Generate reports on audit results and present to leadership.
